📅 3-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Du Gia (Approx. 120 km)

  • Breakfast before starting the scenic drive on the “Road of Happiness.”
  • Pass through Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, Fairy Hills, and Tam Son Town for lunch.
  • Continue deep into the mountains to Du Gia Village, a peaceful valley surrounded by rice terraces.
  • Dinner and overnight at a local homestay with ethnic families.

Day 2: Du Gia – Meo Vac – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Dong Van – Lung Cu

  • Journey through dramatic mountain scenery and deep valleys.
  • Cross the spectacular Ma Pi Leng Pass and admire panoramic canyon views.
  • Visit Dong Van Town and optionally continue to Lung Cu Flag Tower, Vietnam’s northernmost point.
  • Return to Dong Van for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Dong Van – Sa Phin – Yen Minh – Tam Son – Ha Giang (Approx. 150 km)

  • Visit the historic Vuong Palace of the H’mong King in Sa Phin.
  • Drive through the Dong Van Karst Plateau, pine forests, and terraced valleys.
  • Lunch in Yen Minh, then descend to Song La Valley and back to Ha Giang City.
  • Tour ends around 17:30. Bus to Hanoi departs in the evening (arrive ~1:30 AM).
